According The sunnorth london kebab shop owner, Ahmed Khanrejected the 34-year-old singer’s offer to attend the London leg of the tour for free.
The agency said Khan, who owns a kebab shop called Kentish Delight, “was forced to turn down the offer because he was understaffed”.
Kentish Delight became one of the most famous kebabs in the world after Swift filmed scenes from her 2017 music video ‘End Game’ inside the venue.
Han said, “She [Swift] first came before the pandemic with Joe [Alwyn]. He knew we had the best kebabs, so he wanted to show Taylor. He didn’t feel like he was a big celebrity. She was very down to earth and spoke to everyone with respect.”
The shop owner explained how Swift’s management team approached him about tickets to one of her London concerts at Wembley Stadium.
The report also claimed that Swift’s team “ordered 45 kebabs” from Khan on Friday, June 21, and were “expected to do the same for the weekend concerts.”
Khan created a “Taylor Swift” kebab in honor of the singer’s so-called favorite order – a chicken doner in a salad and garlic pita.
The news comes after a caterer who works at Wembley Stadium revealed that Swift designed the food on offer during her Eras Tour.
During the eight-night run in London, Swift’s fans are treated to a selection of her “favorite British-inspired foods,” according to Delaware Northstaff member.
“We know Taylor Swift fans expect a once-in-a-lifetime experience at Wembley Stadium and we’re proud to enhance that through food and drink,” said Wembley’s Head of Concessions. Lewis Blakehe said Us Weekly in a statement. “Our team has spent a lot of time researching all things Taylor Swift – and leveraging the Swifties on our team – to create a food and beverage program that celebrates Taylor and gives her fans a chance to ‘taste’ The Eras Tour while they see and hear it too.”
One dish, “The Karma Dog,” is topped with rainbow slaw and pink garlic aioli to evoke the palette of Swift’s colorful music video with Ice Spice for her song of the same name.
Another, “Chicken, Chips and Seemingly Ranch,” consists of chicken tenders, seasoned fries and ranch, and references a viral reference to the food Swift ate at a Kansas City Chiefs game in 2023.
Swift’s menu wasn’t the only ode to her beloved Kingdom of Chiefs.
The singer had her boyfriend, Travis Kelcejoin her on stage during the concert on Sunday 23rd June at the end of it Department of Tormented Poets Department.
Kelce, 34, joined Swift’s dancers, Cam Sanders and Jan Ravnikin a morning suit and hat as he pretended to apply blush to Swift’s cheeks before dabbing on invisible make-up.
